
WHAT IS COVERED AND FOR HOW LONG?

Compass Auto Care provides a limited warranty on most replacement parts and labor for a period of 60 months or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the original date of service. This warranty applies exclusively to private passenger vehicles and light trucks, and only to parts installed and services performed by Compass Auto Care.
Compass Auto Care reserves the right to deny warranty coverage if any work has been performed on or near the warranted component by anyone other than Compass Auto Care.

EXCLUSIONS​
The following items are not covered under this limited warranty and may carry a lesser or manufacturer-provided warranty:

Tires, lights, filters, brake linings, wiper blades, used parts, special-order parts, fluids

Select electrical components and/or dealer-supplied parts

Wheel alignments

Motor mounts (warranted for 3 years only if physically broken; vibration alone is not covered)

A/C compressors (warranted for 3 years unless purchased as a complete kit with drier and expansion valve or orifice tube installed simultaneously)
-
Customer-selected lower-quality parts (subject to limited warranty)
-
Batteries, engines, and transmissions (covered directly by the manufacturer)
-
Minor fluid seepage or residue that does not result in noticeable dripping to the ground (documented leakage required for coverage)

Software or programming services
-
Noise-only concerns without accompanying performance issues
-
Incidental costs (such as refrigerant, clamps, fluids, or related components)
-
Additional brake system components or labor required to restore the brake system to safe operation
GENERAL PROVISIONS

Time or Mileage Exceptions
The warranty coverage period shall not exceed the lifespan of the original factory-installed component on the vehicle.
Who Is Covered?
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the covered parts and/or services from Compass Auto Care.
Where Is the Warranty Honored?
All warranty claims must be performed exclusively at Compass Auto Care.
No reimbursements will be made for repairs performed by any other shop or individual.
HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM
To submit a warranty claim, the following conditions must be met:

The vehicle and the issue must be presented at Compass Auto Care.

The original service invoice must be provided at the time of the claim.
WHAT COMPASS AUTO CARE WILL DO
Upon confirmation of a covered failure, Compass Auto Care will, at its discretion:

Repair or replace the warranted part or perform the warranted service, subject to availability.

If the part is no longer available, Compass Auto Care will determine the most appropriate alternative.

If an upgraded part is required, the customer must pay the price difference in full at the time of service completion.
OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

No other warranties, express or implied, are provided.

Any written notations on the original Repair Order will supersede this document.

Severability: If any part of this warranty is deemed invalid under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

Exclusive Remedy: To the extent allowed by state law, this warranty constitutes the customer's sole and exclusive remedy.

Limitations of Coverage: This warranty does not apply to:

Commercial, racing, off-road, or abusive use

Damage from accident, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance

Vehicles that have been modified beyond factory specifications
-
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPASS AUTO CARE DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
